Kiss the Cow
What would make a principal kiss a cow? Students reading 10,783 books! Mrs. Terri Bollinger, principle of Ridge Central Elementary School, challenged her students to read 10,000 books. If they met the challenge, she would kiss her cousin’s cow at Ridge Central Elementary School. The press is invited this Thursday May 8, 2008 at 1:00pm to see Mrs. Bollinger kiss a cow in front of her 460 students, their parents and guests. Her cousin Al Lenkaitis, Jr. a dairy farmer from St. Charles, will be bringing the cow to the school. Mr. Lenkaitis can be reached at 630-561-9514. Ridge Central Elementary School is located at 10800 S. Lyman Ave, Chicago Ridge, IL 60415.

Reporters and photographers are welcome to attend this event. For more information, call the Kane County Farm Bureau at 630-584-8660.
